Chinese Digital Community

10/09/2012

Chinese Digital Community groupThe Chinese Digital Community website contains historical and contemporary information about the Chinese in New Zealand.

A joint venture between New Zealand Chinese Association (Auckland) and Auckland Libraries, the website went live in 2009 and aims to preserve New Zealand's Chinese heritage for future generations.

It is our hope that it will become a rich resource, and in turn a useful tool for history and family history researchers.

Anyone can be a member of the website and add content to it. Registration is free.

You could browse the website anytime. Members are free to comment and edit articles on the website. Members can also translate English articles into Chinese, and vice versa. We hope members of the site will continue to add more content in Chinese to the site.

All information on the Chinese Digital Community will be safely stored for future generations by Auckland Libraries.
