Allison Dobbie

My role is to lead the Libraries and Information Department to achieve the outcomes required of us by the Auckland Council, therefore I have to ensure that we have a clear direction and objectives, strong relationships, great staff with the necessary expertise and resources, efficient processes and superb customer service, and that we are all enjoying working together as a whole.
Geoff Chamberlain

My new role is to manage the Central area libraries and with my two colleagues from the South and the North & West area libraries meld the seven existing cultures into a single Auckland Libraries culture which will deliver superb library service to the residents of the city.

Jane Wild

In my role as Acting Manager of the Heritage and Research teams I am leading the teams to deliver excellent research services. We are committed to preserving the unique heritage collections and to building the research collections for customers now and in the future. Our customers include Council staff through the Corporate Library, students, family historians and international researchers. Customers may visit in person via the four research centres and the Sir George Grey Special Collections, or through the Digital Library channels, where our extensive databases and online resources are available.
Mirla Edmundson

My role brings together the libraries from the North and West of the Auckland region into the new Auckland Libraries - this region ranges from Wellsford to Devonport; New Lynn to Helensville. My focus is on ensuring service delivery is customer focussed and relevant to the communities served.
Corin Haines

My role is to ensure the design and delivery of effective digital services to customers by leading the development of online library and information services through digital and web-based technologies. I am also responsible for the Libraries' strategic digital direction and liason with key stakeholders to ensure support for this.
Louise LaHatte

Louise and all her collections teams across the region ensure that our collections meet our customers' expectations of being relevant, up to date, in good condition and in the formats they want. Collection policies, purchasing strategies, purchasing and supplier relationships, cataloguing and processing, and continuous improvement are all in our scope, for both physical and electronic collection resources.
Greg Morgan

Manager Service Development
I lead the service development team. We work with colleagues and community stakeholders to create even more opportunities for the people and diverse communities of Auckland to enjoy their libraries and benefit from them. Our focus is on helping to build a library network that will engage and delight everyone in the Auckland region, and on staff training and development to support that aspiration.
Kim Taunga

Kia orana. My role is Service Delivery Manager Libraries South with responsibility for the delivery of the best customer service experience for the libraries in the South region. With overall libraries manager Allison Dobbie and other members of the lead team, particularly Mirla Edmundson (Service Delivery Manager North West Libraries) and Geoff Chamberlain (Service Delivery Manager Central Libraries), our teams will lead the consistently excellent delivery of library services to the people of the new Auckland region.

My role is to lead the Business Support and Planning team in the provision of administrative services, strategic planning and business intelligence for Auckland Libraries.
