Construction from late 2013 - December 2014
A modern library is being built in Devonport to replace the existing library on Windsor Reserve. The proposed library, built over two floors, will provide an enhanced customer experience, attractive views and connection with the neighbouring reserve.

Construction from 2013
Ranui Library is due to get a new library, located on the corner of Armada Drive and Swanson Road. The new 800-square metre facility will be built over two levels.

Te Atatu Peninsula Library
Te Atatu Peninsula Library and Community Centre will be rebuilt in the same location to provide a much larger public space. Improved linkages to the adjacent Jack Pringle Park are planned.

June 2012 - July 2013
Waiheke will get a new stand-alone library in Oneroa. Funding has also been allocated for a new or refurbished service centre in Ostend.

Wellsford War Memorial Library
July 2012 - June 2013
Construction on a new Wellsford War Memorial Library is underway. We expect the building to be complete by late April 2013. The opening of the new library is planned for early June 2013.

Westgate Library will be a state-of-the-art building to be constructed in the heart of the revitalised Westgate Town Centre.
