Devonport Library

Construction from late 2013 - December 2014
A modern library is being built in Devonport to replace the existing library on Windsor Reserve. The proposed library, built over two floors, will provide an enhanced customer experience, attractive views and connection with the neighbouring reserve.
The current library will close on Sunday 13 October at 4pm and reopen in temporary premises at 3 Victoria Road on Monday 21 October.

Ranui Library

Construction from 2013
Ranui Library is due to get a new library, located on the corner of Armada Drive and Swanson Road. The new 800-square metre facility will be built over two levels.

Te Atatu Peninsula Library

Construction 2012/2013
Te Atatu Peninsula Library and Community Centre will be rebuilt in the same location to provide a much larger public space. Improved linkages to the adjacent Jack Pringle Park are planned.

Te Atatu Library closed on Friday 30 August 2013 and was relocated to 556 Te Atatu Road (the former pharmacy site) for the duration of the new build.

Waiheke Library

June 2012 - late 2013
Waiheke will get a new stand-alone library in Oneroa. Funding has also been allocated for a new or refurbished service centre in Ostend.
