John Davenport's Street names of Auckland: their story is one of the sources that trace name origins. However, it does not cover the greater Auckland area.
We have a database search for Auckland City streets. While local historical societies and historians provided the lists for Māngere, Manurewa, North Shore, Papatoetoe, Rodney and Wāitakere.
