Registrations are open now and Summer reading, sorted activities will be available on your Beanstack account from 5 January – 5 February 2021.
Wherever you are this summer, Auckland Libraries’ free memberships, collections, events, and WiFi let you and your whānau relax, reset and have fun with your reading.
Get started with Beanstack
Download the Beanstack Tracker app on your Apple or Android device or visit the Beanstack website to register now and complete activities from 5 January 2021.
- Register and set up your account on
Beanstack.
- Add readers to your account - adults and kids! You can add a profile for every reader in your household. Each reader can join the reading challenges of their choice.
- Join the ‘Whānau’ challenge and get started from 5 January 2021. Log the time spent reading, complete activities and add book reviews to earn Beanstack badges.
- Each badge earned by a reader in our Whānau challenge gives you an entry into our grand prize draw! Complete a few activities or complete them all - whatever works best for you and your family.
Earn the Specsavers Mission badge for entry into a bonus draw giving you more chances to win a Specsavers prize pack!
Earn the MOTAT Mission badge for entry into a bonus draw giving you more chances to win a family pass to MOTAT: Museum of Transport and Technology.

Auckland Libraries, together with Spark Foundation , are helping provide stress-free internet access to households without a broadband connection. We are a local partner for Skinny Jump . Staff from selected libraries can help eligible families register, set up modems, ensure you are confident getting online and act as the first point of contact for any queries.

Summer Shelfie
Looking for a fun way to track your reading off-line this summer? Help us and Duffy Books in Homes create a community summer shelfie with our fun colouring sheet! Write the titles and colour in each book as you read and once you're done, return it to your local library for display by 5 February 2021.
