You might have noticed that the website looks a little bit different.
We’ve listened to your feedback and have been working hard to update some key aspects that will make it faster and easier for you to find what you need on our website.
We've just released a refresh of the homepage, main menu, search box and online databases section.
Search
We’ve added a drop-down menu to the site search box (at the top of every page) so you can search by format in the catalogue. We’ve also added the ability to search our article database.
Main menu
We’ve expanded the main menu to help guide you directly to key pages, resources and platforms.
I want to...
Our new ‘I want to’ buttons give you a direct link to the most common library website tasks.
Collections and reading
We’ve combined the book titles carousels and used tabs so you can browse a selection of the latest additions to the catalogue and what’s popular.
Listen and watch
Find direct links to our new eAudiobooks, podcasts, streaming films platforms and more.
Events
Find out what’s on today and a curated selection of featured events.
News, blogs and podcasts
This new section of the homepage has direct links to our library blogs and podcasts.
Learn and research
Our online resources section is now called ‘Learn and research’ giving you access to a wide range of databases and resources for study, research and professional development.
Browse by A – Z and by audience
We’ve added two new tabs to help you browse and discover online databases faster and easier.
The ‘A - Z’ tab lists our databases alphabetically and the ‘By audience’ tab presents a curated selection of databases for key audience groups, including students, teachers, researchers, family historians and professionals.
The changes to our website went live on 14 July. We encourage you to take a look around and tell us what you think using the feedback options at the bottom of each page.
