The WISE Collective helps refugee women run ethnic food stalls at markets, festivals and events across Auckland. It supports them on their journey towards self-sufficiency with income opportunities, social networks and a greater sense of confidence as they create new lives in New Zealand.

More than 800 women, from 18 different countries, have engaged with the WISE Collective since its inception.

To celebrate 125 years of women's suffrage, and to mark the final days of Wahine Take Action, Central City Library is hosting the WISE Collective on Saturday 10 November from 11am-3pm.

Please join us for a food stall, including delicious culinary delights from Burma and the Middle East, and a series of cultural performances by younger WISE members from a variety of different backgrounds.
