Spend quality time in our beautiful organic community garden in the library courtyard - created by and for our community!

We often have ripe fruit, veggies, herbs, seeds, seedlings, and worm tea ready for you to take home, and tools and gloves are available if you want to get stuck into some planting, weeding or watering.

Browse our selection of gardening books and magazines, or just relax and read in the shade.

Bookings are invited for class visits, workshops or classes - please contact Community Engagement Librarian Ineka Vogels by email to arrange.

The garden is open seven days during opening hours, and entry is through the glass doors in our Children's or Newspaper area - please ask at the desk if the doors are closed during your visit.
