A master of self-invention, Shaw generated global fame with his GBS brand. Curated by Fintan O'Toole.

George Bernard Shaw was the first global celebrity, and the first man to win both a Nobel Prize and an Academy Award. Based on his book, Judging Shaw, Fintan O'Toole has curated this exhibition which looks at Shaw's life and legacy, and how Shaw, a master of self-invention, cultivated his GBS brand to generate global fame. Judging Shaw is a travelling exhibition, held in conjunction with the Embassy of Ireland, New Zealand. Come along and learn more about the man behind the GBS brand.
