Become a recycling star for Plastic Free July.

Browns Bay's own self-proclaimed "professor of garbology" Martin Adlington will inform and entertain children with an engaging session about our plastic waste.

Martin will use photos and real examples to talk about plastic pollution in the Hauraki Gulf, then discuss uses for plastic trash with a show and tell of some of the creations he has made from the items he has found.

The WasteWise Team from Auckland Council will also be in the library between 11am and 3pm if you would like to find out about how to minimise household waste to help save the environment.

Try out the magnetic game or the "Recycle Right" games to see if you can be a true recycling star.
