    The Makerspace at Blockhouse Bay Library has a 3D printer, sewing and craft equipment, and programming tools. All ages are welcome.

    Equipment

    • 3D printer – Ultimaker 2+, Tinkercad, Cura
    • Badgemaker
    • Sewing equipment
    • Makey Makey – coding, creation and invention kit
    • Raspberry Pi – Specialised computer that teaches programming skills

    Details

    • The 3D printer is available during regular opening hours, and we use a first-come, first-served system.
    • We charge $1 per metre of plastic PLA filament for 3D printing.
    • All other equipment is available free of charge, but only during scheduled workshops.
