Matariki: the Southern skies

Matariki is the Māori name for the Pleiades star cluster that appears in the north-east horizon at the end of May or beginning of June - the time to prepare the land for planting in the spring. These titles are a great introduction to the history of Matariki, its traditions and how celebrating it has changed over the years.
