Level up your kids' reading this summer with our Te Ara Poutama Level Up reading challenge and be in to win prizes and collect badges!
With loads of activities to complete, cool badges to collect, free events at libraries and awesome prizes to win, we’ve got your whānau sorted for a summer of fun in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
And there’s more!
Every seven days of reading earns your tamariki an entry into the ultimate prize draw. Plus, kids who log 21 days or more of reading on Duffy’s Daily Reading Log on Beanstack will be in the draw to win one of our Duffy Top Reader prize packs.
Our Te Ara Poutama Level Up reading challenge and prize draws are open to kids aged five to 12 years. Read on for full details, terms and conditions and how to get started with Beanstack.
Download the Beanstack Tracker app on your Apple or Android device and select ‘Auckland Libraries’. Or you can visit the Beanstack website to register.
Once registered, you’ll be able to join our school holidays challenges for kids from five to 12 years of age.
Visit the Beanstack website
If you can't access the Beanstack Tracker app or Beanstack website, go to your local library and ask for a Te Ara Poutama Level Up booklet.
The booklet has a story, quests, activities and a reading log to track your child’s progress during the holidays.
To enter the prize draws, visit your local library and give your completed Level Up booklet to our friendly library staff on or before 22 January 2023.
We’re excited to help your whānau complete the Te Ara Poutama Level Up reading challenge.
Ask our friendly staff or take a look at our librarian-curated booklists so your tamariki can enjoy reading all summer long!
