- Self-guided augmented reality walking tours curated by our research and local history librarians featuring photographs from Auckland Council Libraries’ Heritage and Research collections
- Available walking tours include history walks in Auckland’s North Shore suburbs and Mt Albert, with new tours added regularly
- Overviews of tours give you everything you need to help plan your visit, including the duration and distance of the walk and the number of stops. You’ll also find parking information and the terrain of the route
- If you aren’t physically in the area, choose the ‘virtual tour’ option to virtually travel the tour route and learn about the area’s history and culture on your smartphone
- Use the ‘free roam’ mode if you want to stray from the suggested tour path.
