Auckland Libraries: Pro-ject

Wed 2 October, Wed 6 November, Wed 4 December 5.30pm to 7.30pm Free

Do you have a creative work you’d love people to know about? A passion project that’s yet to be realised? Are you an artist who’s new to promoting their work and keen to get some practice? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Many craft items on a table.

We want to build a friendly, safe and welcoming sharing space for a wide range of artists and creative thinkers and doers - from illustrators, musicians, designers, writers, engineers, activists and everything in between.

We’re looking for passionate people who are keen to build their profile, network with other creatives, and contribute to a receptive and open-minded environment. Our goal is to uplift and promote you and your project, and to help you feel at home and thriving in your local creative community.

We’re prioritising unheard voices - those who haven’t yet been given a platform, with a focus on Māori and Pasifika and other P.O.C. (people of colour), LGBTQIA, migrant and refugee groups, mature students and anyone who for whatever reason, might not have had a chance to live their best creative lives among enthusiastic peers.

These events are also drug and alcohol-free.

If you tick these boxes, sign up with a brief description of your work alongside any content you're comfortable sharing with us, and we’ll do our best to place you with a 10-15 minute slot at the most suitable session of our Pro-ject events:
