Auckland Libraries: Pro-ject

Wed 6 November, Wed 4 December 6pm to 7.30pm Free

Join us at Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero Central City Library for an evening of creative show-and-tell from a unique and diverse group of Auckland artists, makers, thinkers and doers.

Many craft items on a table.

You'll get a sneak peek at some special projects, as well as the chance to ask the artists questions about their practice, their kaupapa, and their experiences. This event is strictly drug and alcohol-free. It is intended to be a friendly, safe and welcoming sharing space for artists and attendees alike. Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero is a hate-free zone, with zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia and any other kind of discrimination.

Interested in signing up as a speaker?

Do you have a creative work you’d love people to know about? A passion project that’s yet to be realised? Are you an artist who’s new to promoting their work and keen to get some practice? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for passionate creators, from illustrators, musicians, designers, writers, engineers, activists and everything in between, who are keen to build their profile, network with other creatives, and contribute to a receptive and open-minded environment.

Fill out our application form  before 23 October for participation in the 6 November event, or before 20 November for the 4 December event.
