Spend international zine month reading some excellent zines and go in the draw to win prizes. Mark off your bingo card when you read the type of zine mentioned on the square; when you have a full line complete, you’ve got bingo!  You can return your bingo card to us in person at Central Library, or Tweet/Instagram us a picture of the completed card (don’t forget to tag us so we can see).

Be in to win a $20 voucher from Studio Art Supplies or a 4 pack from Karma Cola.

Download the bingo card here or visit us in the library to pick up one. For full terms and conditions please see here

Furious fanzines
When: July 15-16, opening night July 14, 6:00-7:00pm
Where: Ground Floor, Central City Library

Get your creative juices flowing in this two-day zine-making extravaganza! This is a fun individual or team challenge, where participants are tasked with completing a finished zine in one weekend – but there’s a catch. Come to our opening night Friday 14 July to pick up your entry packs and spin the mystery wheel to receive parameters to guide your zine making.

Over the course of the weekend we will have a making area set up on the Ground Floor. Finished zines must be submitted to our entry box by 4:00pm, Sunday 16 July.

Be in to win a $20 voucher from Studio Art Supplies or a 4 pack from Karma Cola. Zines to be judged by library staff and winners will be announced at the Auckland Zinefest afterparty.

Participants are advised to pre-register for the event by emailing CentralLibraryEvents@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz
