Get creative at the new Central City Library Makerspace!
A makerspace is a place where people can collaborate, innovate and create using information, resources and tools provided.
Come and experiment with the help of library staff during library hours.
We have the following equipment available for daily use:
• 1x Ultimaker 2 3D printer (bookings recommended)
• 3x Linux computers - equipped with open-source software for image editing, sound editing, 3D modelling and more!!
If you need specific help with a project, drop by or make an appointment with a librarian.
The Makerspace runs weekend and school holiday events. Like us on Facebook to keep up to date!
Auckland Libraries Makerspace hosts regular 3D printing or computer game-making "hangouts".
These casual sessions are an opportunity to share and learn from others. Beginners are welcome, and experts are encouraged to come along and share your knowledge!
Find out when the next hangout is happening on our Eventbrite page.
