Follow this guide to access uLibrary eAudiobooks on your computer. You can then transfer eAudiobooks to your iPod or MP3 player.

You can access uLibrary eAudiobooks on Windows or Mac OS desktops or laptop computers.

  1. Visit Auckland Libraries on Ulverscroft uLibrary.

  2. Login with your library card barcode number and PIN/password, the same login details you use for your library account.
  3. Tip

    Forgot PIN/password? Reset it.

    No library card? Become a library member.

  4. Click Home or Browse to find a book.
  5. Click Reserve on books that are currently on loan to add the book to your Reserves list.
  6. Click Borrow on available books. You will be asked to accept the terms of use. Click Confirm. If the loan is successful you will be taken to the eAudiobook’s download page. 
  7. To begin listening to a book you previously checked out, go to My Account, then click on Loans. Click Listen. You will be taken to the eAudiobook’s download page.
  8. Depending on the size of the eAudiobook, you can choose to download the complete eAudiobook or in parts. Click the parts to download the zip files to your computer (these usually go to your Downloads folder).
  9. In your Downloads folder, double-click on a zip file to access the eAudiobook file. You can double-click or right-click the file to open it with your preferred media player such as Windows Media Player or iTunes.
  10. To transfer the eAudiobook files to your iPod or MP3 player, connect it to your computer then sync as you usually would.
