- To borrow
eAudiobooks in
uLibrary, you will need your library barcode number and your PIN.
- Listen to books on the go with our wide range of digital audiobooks, available to borrow anywhere, anytime.
- Check out up to 10 eAudiobooks at a time and listen to them on your tablet, phone, iPod or laptop.

- 28 day loan period.
- Check out up to 10 eAudiobooks.
- Place up to 10 holds on popular books.
- Titles on hold are automatically checked out once available.
- At least one eAudiobook part must be downloaded within 14 days of checking out an item, or the title is automatically returned.
- Reading history available.
- Also accessible from outside New Zealand.
- If your card has been made inactive by a librarian - for example, if you reported your card lost - it will no longer work on the eAudiobook websites.

- Titles cannot be renewed.
- Titles cannot be returned early but will automatically return at the end of your loan period.
- Checked out titles and those on hold will not appear in your list of checked out items in your main library account.
- If new items are not appearing in the catalogue search, check the uLibrary site directly, as they appear there first.

Follow the guide on how to update the app. From June 2021, uLibrary is no longer able to allow downloads from the uLibrary website due to Digital Rights Management (DRM) and contracts with publishers. However, you can now use an integrated web player. This means you now have faster and easier access to titles.
