Getting started
Find out how to get started with the Wheelers ePlatform on your smartphone, tablet, computer or compatible eReader with
Wheelers' Step by Step Guides .
Your account
Use your Auckland Libraries barcode number and PIN/password to sign in to the
Wheelers ePlatform .
- Borrow up to 10 eBooks at a time.
- Place up to 99 holds on popular eBooks. When your hold is ready to borrow, you'll receive an email notification. You have four days to check out the item.
- Renewal is available two days before the loan period ends as long as there are no holds on the item.
- Loans are automatically returned on the due date. You can also return items early.
- You can find Wheelers items when you search the
Auckland Libraries catalogue.
- Wheelers loans won’t show on your account in the library catalogue. You’ll need to access your loans via the Wheelers ePlatform app or website.

- eReaders must be compatible with Adobe Digital Editions to read eBooks from Wheelers.
View compatible eReaders
- Kindle eReaders, except for Amazon Fire tablets, are not compatible with our eCollection platforms. They do not use the industry standard formats for eBooks (EPUB or PDF).
- Wheelers eBooks can only be borrowed from within New Zealand.
