Access to the library
Blockhouse Bay Library has free parking. There's a free carpark behind the library with most spaces available for two hours. Street parking is free for one hour. There is a primary school right behind the library; so the carpark is often full at school drop off and pick up times.

The Makerspace at Blockhouse Bay Library has a 3D printer, sewing and craft equipment, and programming tools. All ages are welcome.

- Badgemaker
- Sewing equipment
- Makey Makey – coding, creation and invention kit
- Raspberry Pi – Specialised computer that teaches programming skills
Details
- The 3D printer is available during regular opening hours, and we use a first-come, first-served system.
- We charge $1 per metre of plastic PLA filament for 3D printing.
- All other equipment is available free of charge, but only during scheduled workshops.
